Bespoke Fitted Furniture
Individual ideas deserve an individual approach.
Some projects do not fit a standard category. If you have an idea for a piece of furniture, a storage solution or an interior carpentry feature, tell us what you want it to do and where it needs to belong.
We start with a conversation about your home and your requirements, then consider the design, materials and practical steps needed to take the idea further.
Discuss an individual piece with a particular purpose, size or setting. We consider how it will be used and how it relates to the rest of the room.
An awkward shape or underused area can be a starting point for bespoke design. Share the space and the problem you want to solve so we can explore the possibilities.
Plan a solution around the belongings, equipment or activities that matter to you. The layout begins with what needs a home and how often you need to reach it.
A bespoke project may connect several elements of your interior. Finishes, surfaces and furniture details can be considered as part of a single proposal.
A photograph, rough sketch or clear explanation of the problem is often enough to begin the discussion. Stuart can help you work through the practical questions and establish what information is needed next.
Consider knobs, handles, lighting and internal fittings alongside your main design. We can also discuss feature-wall finishes and worktops where they are relevant to your project.
Yes. Bring any drawings, photographs or references that explain your idea. We will discuss how it could work in your space and what needs to be considered.
The design and scope are discussed before work is agreed. Materials, practical constraints and installation requirements all help determine the final proposal.
Yes. After the design visit you receive drawings together with a written quotation setting out the scope. Nothing is ordered and nothing is charged until you have seen both and agreed to go ahead.
We look at the room, measure it properly and talk through what the furniture needs to hold and how you use the space. It helps to have a rough idea of what is going in, but it is a conversation rather than a sales appointment.
Yes. Taking out old units and making good the walls, floor and skirting behind them can be included in the work, so you are not left with patching to organise separately.
Made for your space
Tell us what you’d like made and, if you can, add a few photos of the space. We’ll look through everything and come back to you to talk it through.
