Designed around your home.

Dedicated Home Offices

Make a dedicated room work around your working day. Fitted office furniture can bring your desk, equipment and paperwork together in a layout planned for focus and everyday use.

Based in Bromsgrove, Stuart Crawford brings over 10 years of industry experience to homes across Worcestershire and the surrounding region.

Plan the workspace as a whole

The desk position affects light, movement and access to equipment. We discuss your typical tasks and storage needs before considering the furniture along each wall.

A practical desk area

Allow for the equipment you use together, alongside suitable space for your chair and working position.

Equipment & cable access

Plan locations for monitors, computers and printers. Cables, ventilation and access to connections need to remain practical.

Paperwork & supplies

Combine shelves, drawers and cupboards around the documents and equipment that support your work.

Plan your project

Photographs, approximate dimensions and a few ideas help us understand the space. We will discuss the proposed layout, materials and practical constraints before agreeing the scope and specification.

Useful details to share

  • Share equipment sizes, including monitor stands and printers.
  • Consider daylight, reflections and task lighting.
  • List files, books and supplies that need to be close at hand.

Consider the finishing details

Knobs, handles and lighting can be considered alongside your main design. We can also discuss internal fittings and surfaces where they are relevant to the way your furniture will be used.

Your questions answered

Can the office accommodate two people?

We can explore a shared layout if the room permits. Each person’s equipment, seating and access need to be considered together.

Can existing equipment be incorporated?

Yes. Dimensions and access requirements for the equipment you intend to keep will help shape the proposed furniture.

What finishes can I choose from?

Painted, sprayed and timber finishes are all available, along with a range of handles and internal fittings. We go through the options in the room itself during the design visit, where you can see them in the actual light.

How disruptive is the installation?

Fitting is done room by room and the space is protected while we work. Most single-room projects are installed in a few days, and we tidy as we go rather than leaving it all to the end.

Can lighting be built into the furniture?

Yes — internal lighting and sensor-operated strips can be designed in. It is worth raising early, because it affects how the carcassing is built and where cabling needs to run.
