Fitted furniture, designed in Bromsgrove

Bespoke Fitted Furniture in Stratford-upon-Avon

We design and install bespoke fitted furniture for homes in Stratford-upon-Avon — a historic market town with a great deal of protected and period building stock. The housing here runs to Tudor and Georgian properties in the centre, with Victorian and modern housing beyond, and no two rooms ask for quite the same thing.

We are based in Bromsgrove — a longer but straightforward run south — and the person who designs your furniture stays with the project through to installation. The first visit is free.

What we can do for Stratford-upon-Avon homes

Most of our work falls into a handful of areas, though almost every project combines more than one. Each is made to measure for the room it goes into.

Full-height grey shaker bedroom wardrobes with central drawers – bespoke fitted furniture for Stratford-upon-Avon homes.

Bedroom storage, made to measure

Full-height fitted wardrobes that use the whole wall rather than stopping short of the ceiling, and walk-in dressing rooms where the room allows. With Tudor and Georgian properties in the centre, with Victorian and modern housing beyond common in Stratford-upon-Avon, the internal layout matters as much as the doors.

Living room storage and media walls

A bespoke media wall brings the screen, equipment, cabling and storage into one considered piece, instead of a television on a stand with boxes underneath.

Home offices and studies

Work space that suits the hours you actually keep: a full study, or a fitted desk that disappears behind doors when the day ends.

Alcoves, shelving and smaller joinery

Alcove units and bookcases either side of a chimney breast, plus the smaller joinery — window seats, boot room storage, understairs cupboards — that makes a house work properly.

Designed for Stratford-upon-Avon houses

Stratford has an unusual concentration of listed and conservation-area properties, where what can be fixed to a wall — and how — needs thinking about before any design work starts.

Working with what the room gives you

Straight walls are rarer than people expect, especially with Tudor and Georgian properties in the centre, with Victorian and modern housing beyond. Each piece is cut and scribed to the room as measured, so the finished run sits flush instead of relying on filler to hide the gaps. We also cover Stourbridge, Worcester nearby — see all the areas we cover we work in.

How it works

A free design visit to measure up and talk through what the room needs. Drawings and a written quotation follow, with the scope set out clearly. Once you are happy, the furniture is precision-made to our drawings by specialist partners and installed under our supervision.

Your questions answered

Can you work in a listed building?

We can, but consent is the owner’s responsibility and should be confirmed before work begins. We design with reversibility in mind where that is the sensible approach, and avoid fixing into historic fabric unnecessarily.

Do you charge for travel to Stratford?

The design visit is free. Stratford is further out than much of our area, but it is well within where we work and travel is accounted for in the quotation rather than added afterwards.

What finishes can I choose from?

Painted, sprayed and timber finishes are all available, along with a range of handles and internal fittings. We go through the options in the room itself during the design visit, where you can see them in the actual light.

How do I get started?

Get in touch through the contact form or by phone and we will arrange a design visit at a time that suits. The visit is free and there is no obligation to proceed.

Can you work with a room that is still being decorated?

Yes, and the order matters. It is usually best to fit the furniture before the final decorating so any making good is covered, but we will talk through the sequence for your project.
